Months of speculation have proceeded the landslide of particulars we’ve received about the Yeezy Boost in recent days. Beginning with the grainy snapshot that surfaced of Kanye holding a purported adidas design, leading up to the Yeezy 750 Boost display in adidas’s New York City flagship store on Houston Street, the wait is nearly over. Granted, conjecture is still abound, largely dealing with the ready-to-wear collection that is slated to accompany the Yeezy Boost, which could contain as many as 90 looks if the tweets of Theophilus London are anything to go by.
Here is what we know for sure: Kanye’s first collaboration with adidas Originals – the Yeezy Boost- will release on February 14 in New York against the backdrop of Fashion Week and the NBA’s All-Star festivities. Reservations for select adidas stores, Foot Locker and Champs Sports locations can be made prior to release day through the adidas Confirmed app, while limited pairs of the Yeezy Boost will be available at other select retailers in New York.
