Building on their first ever completely in-house designed watch, the Timepiece 1, Porsche Design extends their offerings with a large array of options from their Chronotimer Series 1 Collection. Although the brand has been involved in watch design since 1972, these efforts have been in coordination with other companies like IWC and Orfina. The Timepiece 1 and this Porsche Design Chronotimer Series 1 Collection proves that the luxury sports car brand can also go it alone just fine, tapping into some of their designs from the early 1970’s and 80’s. As one of the first brands to suggest fully encasing a watch in titanium, the Series 1 Collection taps into their heritage with all the technical styling you love from Porsche and the look that only the technical-grade material can offer. Launching in July, the Porsche Design Chronotimer Series 1 Collection includes over eight different style combinations, each with 42mm cases, ETA Valjoux 7750 movements, and 48 hour power reserves.
