Billed as the “world’s only true modern four seater super-luxury drophead,” the new Rolls-Royce Dawn has arisen on the world prior to its arrival at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Although its design looks familiar, it’s constructed of more than 80% new parts across its body, which features a long bonnet, strong front grille, and high shoulder line. The rear has also been designed to echo that of a boat tail with wood trim in the 2+2 leather-adorned cabin that can be selected by customers to fit their style. As also can be expected of a Rolls, a custom premium audio system with 16 speakers, chrome decorative accents, and four-zone automatic climate control system comes standard. Its most obvious feature, its retracting roof, drops back in about 20 seconds in a manner their engineering team claims is the quietest convertible in the world, revealing a golden orange interior fitting of the model’s name. Powered by a 6.6-liter biturbo V12 with 563 HP and 575 lb-ft of torque, the Rolls-Royce Dawn has set the stage for an exciting year ahead for the British luxury carmaker.
